I live and breathe guitar! My passion began at the age of 12 when I formed my first band called, “The Zodiacs.”  The guitar has been my faithful companion all of my life. I believe that mastering the guitar is truly a lifelong journey. I hope to share my joy with the people I teach. Students can’t help but feel my enthusiasm for guitar, and all styles of music.


This in turn, inspires them to attain their personal goals. My approach is to provide the building blocks of theory, while incorporating fun, honoring spontaneity and encouraging ingenuity.

I’m a passionate teacher who strives to help my students reach their highest potential. Besides teaching private lessons for decades, I also taught at the former Eastwood School of Music in Wisconsin. I now offer private lessons in the Naples/Fort Myers area, including Bonita Springs, Florida. Whether you are a beginner, or looking to grow your skills,  you will find that I provide a personalized and tailored approach, while simultaneously making learning fun. I welcome all ages and levels.
 

I have been a professional guitarist and bandleader for over 27 years. I was honored to receive three Madison Area Music Association Awards (2007), Best Instrumentalist, Best Blues Song, Best Jazz Song
